Bye Bye A.J. Brown
As an Eagles fan, its bittersweet - on one hand he was the most dominant Eagles WR I’ve ever seen, on the other hand it seemed like he only cared about his stats.
It feels easy to say that AJB ran himself out of Philly, but I can never truly be mad at someone that brought hope and potential to a team which led to 2 Super Bowl appearances and 1 Super Bowl win. I remember the Travis Fulgram’s and Greg Ward’s of the world and having an A-tier WR such as AJB was a blessing.
It doesn’t come as a true shock ever since the Eagles drafted Makai Lemon, but now it is the Devonta Smith show, the true WR1. The WR that never complained, always put his helmet on and did the work.
All this to say, thank you A.J. Brown for contributing to the best period in Eagles history for the young fan that I am, I hope the Patriots can give you more than what you got here.
Go birds.
